Celebrate spring with the Student Sustainability Center’s Habitat Restoration team in Hendricks Park at our forest restoration work parties!! This April, we will be meeting Sunday mornings 4/7, 4/14, and 4/21 10am-noon. 

Meet us in the parking lot/picnic area in Hendricks Park- the intersection of Floral Hill Dr. and Fairmount Blvd.- for a morning of forest restoration and community building! Work parties include plant ID, invasive species removal, and native species reintroduction. 

Please dress for the weather, wear closed-toe shoes and long pants, and bring a water bottle. All other equipment will be provided. There is no prior experience necessary- we will provide safety training and teach effective restoration methods!
