Graduate Student Writing Circles

Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at 8:30am to 11:30am

Lokey Education Building, 270
1571 Alder Street, Eugene, OR 97403

Graduate Writing Circles help graduate students mark out time from their busy schedules for academic writing and, possibly, cross disciplinary collaboration. We provide a peer support system for graduate students across all disciplines as they write for academic purposes and for publication.

Graduate writing circles aren't review groups. Instead, we use positive accountability to develop our own content, productive writing practices and to develop a supportive community of writers on campus.

Learn to set and meet your writing goals, while building relationships with colleagues from other disciplines.

It was great. Everyone was friendly and supportive. It was especially nice to meet other students who are also working on their dissertations. The check in before and after was key. I was able to accomplish my goal.
