Dr. T. Bettina Cornwell, an Edwin E. and June Woldt Cone Professor of Marketing, will be presenting a Friday Forum talk addressing Sponsorship and Corporate Social Responsibility. Professor Cornwell will be looking at the corporate support of sports, arts, entertainment, and charity. This type of support is often part of a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program that usually aligns with communication goals and can no longer be considered simply as philanthropy. Professor Cornwell's presentation will consider basic premises and understanding of CSR from a marketing perspective as it relates to sponsorship.
