DESCRIPTION:This augmented reality (AR) workshop will teach you the fundame
 ntals of AR design and have you building AR experiences in just a couple of
  hours on your phone or laptop! This workshop is taught by Danny Pimental\,
  Assistant Professor of Immersive Psychology and Director of the Oregon Rea
 lity (OR) Lab and Snap AR Scholars program at the School of Journalism and

 JC students?\n\nWhat is augmented reality? Augmented reality is a technolog
 y that overlays digital information—such as images\, 3D models\, or text—on
 to the real-world environment in real-time. It merges digital elements with
  the physical world using devices like smartphones\, screens\, or smart gla
 sses. \n\nThis workshop is free to all students. Spots are limited\, so par
