Femme, Trans, Women Identified Folk Bike School

Have the material and psychic conditions of capitalist patriarchy prevented you from being the confident, nerdy bicycle mechanic you would love to be? Calling femmes, women, trans, non-binary, and other gender diverse humans wanting to learn (or learn more) about the joys of bicycle maintenance!!! FTW (Femmes/Trans/Women) Bike School Winter ‘23 will be happening at the Bike Program, Thursdays at 5:30-7:30pm, January 26th (week 3) to March 2nd (week 8). This six-week course covers topics including fixing flats, wheel hub overhauls, wheel truing, brake adjustments, drivetrains, and derailleurs. Scholarships available for the folks in financial need. *You are not signed up until you pay at the Outdoor and Bike Program EMU, Room 008, or the Outdoor Program Rental Barn on 18th and University Street. Hours are M-F 12pm-5pm. NO REFUNDS
