As the US research enterprise faces growing uncertainty, universities are facing challenges to sustain the infrastructure and momentum that drive discovery and innovation. The Council on Governmental Relations (COGR) is at the center of national efforts to advocate for the stability and integrity of academic research. 

Please join us as we host COGR President Matt Owens for a public talk on federal research advocacy and efforts to sustain university research infrastructure in the current climate. 

COGR is a nonprofit organization that represents the interests of research-intensive universities and affiliated institutions in federal policy discussions. It plays a key role in advocating for policies that support university research, working closely with federal agencies and lawmakers to influence regulations related to funding, compliance, and research integrity.
