Deschutes Hall, CIS Department
1477 East 13th Avenue, Eugene, OR 97403
Come meet Facebook’s Infrastructure team which is comprised of groups like Infra Foundation, Connectivity Lab, and Production Engineering. Just to provide more context, some of the positions that these teams hire for include roles like Hardware Engineer, Systems Engineer, Technical Program Manager, Software Engineer, and more.
We’re hosting a tech talk on November 8th in CIS – Deschutes Hall at the University of Oregon campus from 3:00pm – 4:00pm. Our goal is to expose students to Facebook career opportunities outside of Software Development, such as Production Engineering. This talk will focus specifically on Production Engineering and include an interactive Linux Challenge. Bring your computer if you’d like to participate!
We also want to create a platform for you to engage with engineers, recruiters and Facebook representatives to have your resume reviewed, have a chance to ask 1:1 questions, and learn more about the unique challenges our teams are facing when you operate at this scale. Food and refreshments provided!
TARGET AUDIENCE: CIS majors/minors
RSVP and more info: fb.me/UofO
You can also connect with the Facebook team at the Career Center's Networking Event on WED 11/8 from 5pm-7pm (EMU Ballroom) or the Fall Career Fair THUR 11/9 from 12pm-4pm (EMU Ballroom).
