The Outlying District: Black Suburba Elexus Greene UO School of Journalism & Communication- Advertising & School of PPPM Painter and digital artist Elexus Greene was born in San Francisco, CA but spent her childhood growing up in Vallejo. Elexus mixes Black heritage with urban elements to create visuals of inherited history seen amongst millennials today. Upon first entering the Journalism Gateway sequence at UO, Elexus has become obsessed with creating and publishing her own passion projects. As she begins the transition into her senior year of college at the UO, she is student by day and creator by night where she is learning the essentials of balancing academics, work, and artistry.
