If you are a UO student (either undergraduate or graduate) and want to compete in our Elevator Pitch Competition taking place on Thursday, November 15 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. please fill out the brief online application. The top prize is $500 (with second place prize of $300 and third place prize of $200).
Elevator pitches should be 30 seconds to 1 minute in length and may address a for-profit or nonprofit idea. You may NOT use slides in your pitch (though you are welcome to use props). Applications are due on Wednesday, November 14 at 11:00 p.m.
Note: Only the top 3-5 applicants will be invited to pitch in front of judges on November 15.
If you attend our Tuesday, November 13 Founder Meetup (6:00-7:30 p.m. in Lillis 132), you not only will meet other cool entrepreneurial people like yourself, but we will also go over a brief 'How to Pitch' presentation so that your application for this competition is strong.
