Across the country, professional supports for children with autism and developmental delays have come to a virtual halt due to the reduction of formal educational supports for children with disabilities. The resulting disruption in schedules and routines can be even more detrimental to youth with autism, than to the general population, with lasting effects on mental health and school outcomes.
Join us for a live presentation from our panel of experts about how UO has shifted to a telehealth model and implemented family-centered services that provide parents with the tools to manage interventions at home. We will delve into how this innovative work could alter the entire paradigm of effective interventions and disability services, and prepare the next generation of teachers and school professionals to navigate these new challenges.
