Drop-in Discussion: "Where Are All the Female Architects?"

Wednesday, January 30 at 12:00pm to 1:00pm

Lawrence Hall, Room 279
1190 Franklin Boulevard, Eugene, OR

School of Architecture & Environment students are invited to a drop-in discussion of the Alison Arieff’s recent New York Times opinion piece, “Where Are All the Female Architects?”

What do discussions of gender and diversity mean for the design professions represented by the School of Architecture & Environment (architecture, interior architecture, landscape architecture, historic preservation)? What are questions that we should be asking in the School of Architecture & Environment related to the topics brought to light in this piece?

Please join us between 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. on January 30 in LA 279 for an informal discussion and food. This event is co-sponsored by STAnDD (Supporting the Advancement of Diversity in Design) and by the School of Architecture & Environment.
