Digital Accessibility Teaching Support Hours (drop-in)
About this Event
Faculty and GE instructors, do you have questions about making your course materials digitally accessible, want help identifying next steps, or are you seeking supported co-working time? Join us Thursdays any time between 1-3pm at this Zoom link; no registration needed.
These weekly drop-in hours are the place for faculty and GE instructors to:
- Get guidance on applying practices from the Digital Content Accessibility Training to your course materials
- Practice using automated tools like Pope Tech to find and fix accessibility issues
- Pose questions to UO's Digital Accessibility Architect (dates they attend will vary; for more info, contact lbastian@uoregon.edu).
These hours are hosted by the Teaching Engagement Program, with bimonthly support from the Digital Accessibility Architect, and they occur weekly through spring break (Feb 12 through March 26). UO Online and TEP will also offer weekly hours in spring term.
These hours are not a replacement for the Digital Content Accessibility Training, which we strongly encourage taking. Find more information for instructors on the DIgital Accessibility in Teaching page. If you’re unable to make this time, use the Contact Us form to schedule a consultation.
