Demystifying Labs and Research at UO is hosted by the Nontraditional Student Union and DEI Committee. This event aims to bring together many professionals from various departments to engage with you, the student! The University of Oregon's leading experts, researchers, and enthusiasts are from various departments across UO.

This event will allow undergraduates to explore research opportunities and foster collaborative relationships within the research communities on campus. Faculty, grad students, and undergrads from different departments will participate in this event by sharing their experience and research with undergraduates as you explore and connect table to table. This is not a research symposium; it will be rather different. This career fair-style event will allow those who are interested in getting involved in research to connect with the University of Oregon's very own research professionals. Research involves more than just STEM and we hope undergraduates walk away from this tabling event feeling like they know how to get involved in many different departments.
