Darkness in Daytime: Viewing the August Total Solar Eclipse

On the morning of August 21, 2017, central Oregon (and a 60-mile swath across the continental US) will witness one of nature’s most spectacular events—a total eclipse of the Sun. Join Dr. Scott Fisher for a fun and informative talk about how eclipses occur, what we should expect to see, and how to view the eclipse safely.

Included with regular museum admission; free for MNCH members and UO ID card holders.
