About this Event
1680 East 15th Avenue, Eugene, OR 97403
http://natural-history.uoregon.eduTake a “road trip” through the American West to learn about fossils in our midst and the stories they tell about the past! Cruisin’ the Fossil Freeway combines fossils from the museum’s collection with the whimsical works of celebrated artist Ray Troll. Explore questions about evolution, extinction, and life on earth as fossils are brought to life by Troll’s imaginative artwork. These color prints and large-scale murals – on loan from the Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture at the University of Washington – were created for Ray Troll’s book Cruisin’ the Fossil Freeway, co-authored with paleontologist Kirk Johnson.
