This workshop will help students gain understanding about where their depression may be coming from. The primary focus will be learning psychological and emotional skills for coping with and overcoming depression. Each week will cover different strategies, such as changing how one thinks about oneself and the world, letting go of negative ruminations, engaging in meaningful activity, cultivating self-compassion, and exploring creativity to solve challenging problems. Led by University Counseling Center staff.
