About this Event
1395 University Street, Eugene, OR 97403
Do you have a vision for positive change in your community? Do you want to hear how real people have worked towards their visions in real life? Join us at our Community Leader Panel to hear from four leaders in our community that get to work within their passions everyday.
Our panelists will be Lisa Arkin, Executive Director of Beyond Toxics; Nadia Telsey, a leadership member of Showing Up for Racial Justice (SURJ Eugene); Julie Weismann, CEO of Womenspace; and Kris Winter, our very own Dean of Students at UO. They will be sharing how leadership shows up in their lives and how it has aided them in making their dreams for a more equitable world a reality.
We will start with food from UO Catering and mingling, and will start the panel at 4:20 p.m. There will be time at the end for questions from the audience. Please feel free to drop in if you're unable to make it to the entire time.
