Virtual EventGraduation is just around the corner, it’s totally ok if you’re nervous! There’s a lot of stress that comes with transitioning from college life to the professional world. Hear stories from a panel of young alumni and local leaders from the Eugene Young Professionals to gain encouragement and pro-tips about making the transition to this next phase of life—wherever that might take you.
Topics to be discussed through panel and breakout sessions may include:
How to stay motivated and focused during your job search.
Understanding if you’re getting a “good deal” with salary and benefits.
What types of questions to ask in an interview to discern if YOU actually want to work somewhere.
Working full-time in an office vs. remote team.
Making your (new) city feel like home.
Getting involved in community and professional organizations.
This event is a collaboration between the University of Oregon Career Center and the Eugene Young Professionals.
