Caryatids Exhibit by Alison Schukis
Allison is an artist living and studying in Eugene, Oregon. She is currently pursuing a BFA in Art and a BA in Art History at the Robert D. Clark Honors College (University of Oregon). She works mainly in 2 dimensions, exhibiting favoritism toward analogue photography, but also explores performance and installation in her work. Her current work explores her personal relationship with trauma and asserting authorship in the self portrait. She has worked weekly with her mentor, Gregory Geiger, since beginning college. Allison has exhibited locally as well as in shows in New York, Washington D.C., and San Francisco.
