About this Event
1190 Franklin Boulevard, Eugene, OR
http://krause.uoregon.eduBiomorphic Bloom is a fantastical collection of abstract forms inspired by flora, fauna, and their grounding surfaces. Biomorphism regards finding comfort in the uncanny familiar. Some influences include peculiar tree bark, invasive vine vegetation, and coastal honeycomb-weathered sandstones. I record these observations from my hikes throughout Oregon. Themes center around growth, invasiveness, and the acceptance of otherness.
A BFA Thesis exhibition by Courtney McCall.
