This is the inaugural get-together of the Bikes and Friends Commuter Club! We'll have informal conversations over complimentary tea and snacks. Come meet other bike commuting colleagues and make some friends. While this is geared more towards faculty & staff everyone is welcome:

-We want to encourage new riders: If you are curious about how to bike commute, we will be happy to connect you to a bike buddy volunteer to help work though the ins and outs of finding a route, give advice on gear, signaling and ride etiquette, and even join you on a first ride in to campus. 
-Experienced riders, let's share our tips and tricks about our bikes, routes, and more. 
-It's not just bicyclists, all alternative transportation users are welcome: pedestrians, scooters, rollerblades, wheelchairs, skateboards, E-bikes, heelies, bus riders, and more.
-This event will be a meet and greet, and also a chance to brainstorm ways to improve commuting conditions, improve access, and improve advocacy on campus
-We also have some ideas of educational presentations and workshops, come vote on what would interest you.
