One can choose to read the Bible as a work of ancient literature, or an anthology of ancient literary works, rather than as sacred Scripture. It is a matter how one reads. We will focus on three short biblical books: Ruth, Ecclesiastes, and Song of Songs—a short story, a book of wisdom, and a collection of love songs; a week for each, and any Bible will do.
