Social gatherings with people from outside of your household are not allowed until further notice.

Exhibit by Beth Robinson, "Before the Scan"
Artist Statement: I have a love for found objects, collage, cut edges and the unspoken. Often in my work mere fragments, ghosts of materials, soft pencil lines or patterns can be seen. Capturing the momentary voice of these objects and ephemera accentuates the missing, forgotten or the things often left unspoken beneath the surfaces of loss for me. Often my finished work is mixed media digital collage printed on William Turner paper but over the years many people have expressed that they just wanted to see the process of collage. In this show, I’m exploring that notion through layers of raw materials before I scan them into Photoshop. This work references Hannah Hoch, The Dada Movement, and its exploration through collage. My next show will include these pieces with in my digital mixed media pieces.
