The presentation will focus on the history of the Shoshone people, the history of the Bear River Massacre, the importance of oral history and tradition, and what former Chairman Parry sees as the path to healing and restoration for the Shoshone people. He will also discuss his current project working with ecologists to restore the land where the Bear River Massacre occurred. This event is part of this year's PIELC, co-sponsored by the Native American Law Student Association (NALSA).
