Basketry Workshop with Brenda Brainard

Join Brenda Brainard, member of the Confederated Tribes of Coos, Lower Umpqua, and Siuslaw Indians, for a day-long basketry workshop. Participants will learn basic weaving techniques while creating their own cedar and sedge basket necklace. 

Materials, including cedar and sedge, beads, and a small abalone button will be provided. Participants are welcome to bring their own special embellishments, such as buttons, charms, or small feathers.
