Outdoor Program (OP) Barn

Come and test out your backcountry ski legs! We will be skinning up and skiing down doing some laps on Potato Hill and learning a little along the way! No prior experience with Alpine touring required, however, we ask that you feel comfortable on cross country skis and/or alpine downhill skiing. We are partnering with Berg's Ski Shop, so you can rent skis if you do not have your own. Let's go play in some snow!
Pre-trip: Monday, Feb 3, 5:30 p.m., OP Rental Barn
Sign-up: Monday-Friday, noon-5 p.m. at the Outdoor & Bike Program Office, EMU 008 or call 541-346-4365
Level 2: May be appropriate for beginner: some previous experience with the activity may be required and/or make the experience more enjoyable and successful; moderate terrain and distance.

*You are not signed up until you pay at the Outdoor and Bike Program EMU, Room 008, or the Outdoor Program Rental Barn on 18th and University Street. Hours are M-F noon-5 p.m.
OP Membership Required: Students are already members! Non-students can purchase an annual year-to-date membership for $25 or pay a $5 day-use fee by coming into one of our above-listed locations. Non-students will also need to purchase a one-time UO Community Member Card from Card Services in the Erb Memorial Union for $10. The card and membership will enable you to access our Rental Barn for outdoor gear, the Do-It-Yourself Bike Workspace, and entry to Outdoor and Bike Program events and Common Adventure trips.
