Considered by many to be the single greatest masterpiece of western sacred music, the St. Matthew Passion is a complex and profoundly moving depiction of the betrayal, love, judgement, and death that defined the final days of Jesus’ life.

This event is sponsored by PepsiCo., Bigfoot Beverages, and KLCC 89.7 FM.

In accordance with state mandates, as of 6/14/22, OBF performance spaces do not require face masks, proof of vaccination, or negative COVID test for entry. However, given the rise in Lane County COVID cases, the University of Oregon recommends individuals wear masks indoors when around other people. These policies are subject to change as the Festival progresses.
