 ful work!\n\nArtist Statement and Bio:\n“(ayáyat means beautiful in Uma
 tilla)\n\nMy name is Megan Van Pelt\, an Indigenous photographer based on 
 the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation (CTUIR) and cur
 rent student at the University of Oregon (UO). This exhibit is influenced 
 by Indigenous resilience on the higher education level\, as well the beaut
 y and Tribal Members of the Umatilla Indian Reservation (UIR).\nBorn and r
 aised in North Eastern Oregon\, I have lived in and around Pendleton\, Ore
 gon majority of my life. My biological parents are Michael Van Pelt and Re
 becca Carnes. Enrolled CTUIR Tribal Member\, I am also of Nez Perce and Ca
 yuse lineage. Other than photography\, I am a beginner bead-worker and pla
 teau style basket-weaver.\nThis last academic year\, I had the wonderful o

 tilla)\n\nMy name is Megan Van Pelt\, an Indigenous photographer based on 
 the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation (CTUIR) and cur
 rent student at the University of Oregon (UO). This exhibit is influenced 
 by Indigenous resilience on the higher education level\, as well the beaut
 y and Tribal Members of the Umatilla Indian Reservation (UIR).\nBorn and r
 aised in North Eastern Oregon\, I have lived in and around Pendleton\, Ore
 gon majority of my life. My biological parents are Michael Van Pelt and Re
 becca Carnes. Enrolled CTUIR Tribal Member\, I am also of Nez Perce and Ca
 yuse lineage. Other than photography\, I am a beginner bead-worker and pla

 ful work!\n\nArtist Statement and Bio:\n“(ayáyat means beautiful in Uma
 tilla)\n\nMy name is Megan Van Pelt\, an Indigenous photographer based on 
 the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation (CTUIR) and cur
 rent student at the University of Oregon (UO). This exhibit is influenced 
 by Indigenous resilience on the higher education level\, as well the beaut
 y and Tribal Members of the Umatilla Indian Reservation (UIR).\nBorn and r
 aised in North Eastern Oregon\, I have lived in and around Pendleton\, Ore
 gon majority of my life. My biological parents are Michael Van Pelt and Re
 becca Carnes. Enrolled CTUIR Tribal Member\, I am also of Nez Perce and Ca
 yuse lineage. Other than photography\, I am a beginner bead-worker and pla
 teau style basket-weaver.\nThis last academic year\, I had the wonderful o
