A Christmas Carol

AUDITIONS OPEN TO ALL UO STUDENTS!!!!!!!!!!

Audition Guidelines:

Students who cannot attend in person can contact director John Schmor (jbschmor@uoregon.edu) for Zoom audition appointments earlier in the day on June 6.

Please come with a prepared monologue (short - no longer than 1 minute) that you can do in some English accent (regional or classic London). Also come prepared to sing a few bars of one traditional Christmas Carol.

All actors cast will be learning to perform a simple period jig and several Christmas songs from the period.

This adaptation has 10 roles (plus two children), with an even balance between male and female. All play multiple characters except the actor cast for Ebenezer Scrooge.

Callbacks:

Callbacks will be Monday evening, June 7.

Performance Information:

Performance dates are: November 19, 20, December 3,4,5 (matinee) and December 10 and 11. There is also a possibility of adding one special matinee for local high schools. Please note: these dates include performances on Week 10 and on Finals Week, as we hope for holiday audiences. (We will not be performing on Thanksgiving weekend.)
