API Forward is accepting applications for the 2022 Forward Leadership Program. The program aims to inspire, motivate, and empower undergraduate college students who identify as Asian or Pacific Islander to develop their leadership potential. The program is a 4-month long project-based program for undergraduates who identify as API. Students work in teams on a real-life DEI-related project, receive scholarship money and mentorship.
The program hopes to inspire participants to lead change for Asians, Pacific Islanders, and others. Participants of the API Forward Foundation's Forward Leadership Program must participate in all five of the program's components:
Ideal candidates must self-identify as a member of the Asian and Pacific Islander community, be open to learning about race and equity issues, and have a strong desire to become a leader in the API community.
