Arts and Entrepreneurship Panel Discussion: Exploring Creation and Transformation

The Arts & Administration program will host a panel discussion with Digital Arts Associate Professor Michael Salter, Product Design Assistant Professor Hale Selek, artist Charly Swing, and Lauren Suveges, the Arts Education Program Manager for Lane Arts Council. Q&A will follow.

Arts Entrepreneurship is an emerging field of study in Arts Management that investigates how individual artists and arts organizations are engaging with the Entrepreneurial mindset and practices to sustain art-making, build community and flourish financially. The panelists will share their approaches to sustainable art-making and their experience with creation and transformation, processes employed by both professional artists and expert entrepreneurs.
