Self-acceptance is one of our most difficult challenges, we live in a society in which beauty standards, and life expectations make it impossible to fully accept and love ourselves. In this workshop we will use mindfulness, to learn how we can truly embrace who we are. It seems all too easy to fall into the trap of judging ourselves as inadequate, finding fault with our achievements or our bodies, and believing our self-critical inner voices. In this workshop we will work on ways to better honor ourselves and who we are, explore what it means to love yourself, how to do it, and its benefits, as well as identifying the the importance of self-love in our lives. This workshop is part of All Sizes Fit programming and is free and open to UO students, faculty, and staff.
