Adjusting to College: Students of Color

Thursday, October 17, 2019 at 2:00pm to 2:50pm

Erb Memorial Union (EMU), Duck Nest (041)
1395 University Street, Eugene, OR 97403

As a student of color, you may find yourself in an environment with more or less racial and cultural diversity than what you experienced in your home community. This often causes students to feel isolated and disconnected. If this is you, you are not alone! This workshop will address potential barriers and challenges that you may face as a student of color on campus, provide you with strategies to overcome them, and highlight campus resources to support your academic journey. This is a drop-in workshop and is free and open to UO students, faculty, and staff.
