If you’re the first person in your family to attend college, navigating university life and the demands it brings can feel overwhelming. You are not alone – many first generation college students struggle with deciphering a system that is often foreign to their family and often their community. This workshop will address the challenges that you might face as a first generation college student, provide you with helpful tools and a road map for navigating college successfully, and equip you with valuable campus resources to support you along the way. This is a drop-in workshop and is free and open to UO students, faculty, and staff.
