A Talk by Photographer Alec Soth

"Alec Soth: America's most immaculate, intriguing photographer" (The Guardian)

Photographer Alec Soth will be joining the University of Oregon's School of Journalism and Communication to discuss his career in photography and the importance of serendipitous connections.

Alec's work has taken him throughout the United States, confronted human problems by practicing Laughter Yoga, and to build new dialogues with unexpected collaborators. Through his recent collaboration, The Palms, and on his YouTube channel, Alec's explorations continue to break new ground in photography and narrative form — particularly in a digital world.

This event is free, open to the University of Oregon community, and will include a Q+A session.
