D’Lo is a queer/transgender Tamil-Sri Lankan-American actor, writer, and comic who shares his journey as a young queer person into queer adulthood. On his route to learning how to exist unapologetically, he is also confronted with the question of what it means to embody a beautiful masculinity that upholds his feminist politics.
His solo shows have toured the college circuit, and theaters and festivals internationally. His work has been published or written about in academic journal anthologies, with features in The Guardian, NBC, and The Advocate. As an actor, you might’ve seen him in Looking (HBO), Transparent (Amazon), Sense 8 (Netflix), Mr. Robot (USA) and the Issa Rae-produced show Minimum Wage.
