 th Vincson Green\, BA ‘83 (journalism\, communications)\, who spent twen
 ty-five years as an impactful store director with Target before retiring t
 o focus on building a non-profit organization. Vincson will share his key 
 strategies for leading diverse\, high-performing teams\, which include ref
 lecting the community\, talent management\, and building diversity within 
 leadership. He will also discuss overcoming challenges\, such as those fac
 ed while opening the downtown Portland\, Oregon Target location\, and the 
 importance of acknowledging and supporting retail workers.\n\nAs a staff t
 rainer\, Vincson combined classroom instruction with hands-on experience t
 o build up team leaders\, while using storytelling to make training impact
 ful. Vincson will highlight the factors that contributed to his success in
  mentoring and promoting team members\, emphasizing on one-on-one sharing\
 , and creating development roadmaps.\n\nIn his post-retirement years\, Vin
 cson continues to apply his leadership skills in non-profit work and proje
 ct management\, focusing on building operations and fundraising from the g
 round up. In addition\, Vincson recently joined the board of the Black Alu
