“Be Oregon: Empowering our Beloved Community” is the theme of this year’s University of Oregon inaugural symposium to commemorate Martin Luther King Jr. Day. This year's expanded agenda includes events on January 10-11 for the whole campus community and will highlight individuals across the university doing work that aligns with the values of Martin Luther King Jr.

Please join us for a special Land Acknowledgment in the EMU Amphitheatre on January 11 by Jason Younker, assistant vice president and advisor to the president on sovereignty and government-to government relations at the University of Oregon and chief of the Coquille Indian Tribe. Free doughnuts courtesy of UO Police Department.

Visit the official UO MLK webpage for the full list of programs: https://inclusion.uoregon.edu/rev-dr-martin-luther-king-jr-campus-and-community-events.
