While the tools provided will undoubtably be useful in constructing my dissertation, I found the partner work process to be rather infuriating. As a theatre PhD student who predominantly studies science fiction, it wasn't very generative to discuss my work with a public policy MA student. Neither of us could relate to each other's projects and especially under the time constraint, this meant that peer work wasn't useful for either of us at all. I think this could be easily fixed by asking people to find someone from a similar field to discuss work.
